last semester stressin's and blessin's.

Hey guys. Well I'm one of millions of students graduating this May. But I'm me... so I care about me graduating. ha

The last semester is HARD.

I shouldn't have planned an incredible trip after graduation. Because I CAN'T FOCUS. My trip countdown just entered double digits and I think about that more than I think about the 53 papers I have due this week.

How can you erase going to England, Italy, Australia, Thailand, Laos, and Cambodia from your mind for 76 days?

Yeah that's right. Graduating. 76 days. Fetch. Gotta get my act together!

Also. I'm going to New York for Spring Break. Yet another distraction.

UGH.

On a positive note. My life is SO BLESSED right now.

I started an internship with the Color Vibe on Halloween 2013. By December, they asked me if I wanted it to turn into a job. I said FETCH YES I DO. So January 2, 2014 I started my first day at Color Vibe as a valid employee. And I absolutely love it. They are so chill with their hours. I'm one of the Marketing Specialists :) my bosses Mike and Dave brought me into their office at the end of January to see how I was doing and after talking for a bit, they asked if I had anything I wanted to talk to them about. I was very hesitant but I knew I needed to tell them about my summer trip... So I told them I had already bought my tickets before I got the job and how bad I felt and they responded as such: that's so cool! We will totally hold your position. The only thing we're mad about is that we can't join you!

How cool is that? They're letting me take 2 1/2 months off to travel and come back to work. I can't believe it. I was so grateful. Seriously.

Then I attended my first event last weekend. I went to Phoenix and it was one of the best weekends of my life thus far. I haven't laughed so hard in a long time. My co-workers are hilarious.

Got there Thursday. Went and looked at the venue. Ate.

Friday we did packet pickup.
Saturday we were up at 5am to set up for the event. I was in charge of check-in and I got to supervise 10 volunteers. Then I got to help at the start line and with the dance party by blowing color everywhere :) Holy crap it was fun. I have the greatest job.

After we cleaned the event up, I laid by the pool :) and loved it. Then we went to downtown Phoenix that night to eat and we were very lost. So we just walked around and eventually we ran into the Airways Center and the Suns happened to be playing that night! So we decided to go to the game. But it was after halftime so they wouldn't let us in! I ended up going up to two families that were leaving and asking for their tickets. Which we got :) so we got in! And they had good seats too!

Then I lost a game of What Are The Chances so I had to go up to a stranger and ask if I could have the shirt they had caught. They gave it to me :)

When there was 20 seconds left in the game, we ran down to the players bench and started screaming Jeff! We're from Utah! (Their coach played for the Jazz at one point) and we acted like we were the biggest Suns fans. haha

Then we ate dinner at a TGI Friday's in the Diamondback Stadium!!

It was incredible.

So I absolutely love my Color Vibe job.

Then I was fortunate enough to get another job on campus working at the Graduate Studies office in Old Main. I love it. I can work in between classes and go in when my class gets cancelled, it's just super flexible! And close! I love it. My co-workers are so nice and they think I'm hilarious, which is always a plus :)

My life is so blessed right now. Heavenly Father knew I needed this with all of the stress that comes with the last semester of college and the stress from my family. He's such a gem :)

My family is going through a very rough patch. Still. I thought it would get easier, but it really hasn't. So I'm so grateful for these blessings in my life so I can still be happy at the stage I'm at.

Ok this post is long enough. Guess I'll go try and write one of my papers.

Byeeeeeeeeee.
