Here we go again.

Listen up. Summer is almost here again. Last summer = literally the best summer of my life. So this summer.... let's just say it has a lot to live up to.

Here are the things I would like to do this summer:

  • Everything


Yes my list is very specific.

I'm very excited because I'm going to be with new roommates, in a new ward, and hopefully with a new job.

This semester has been a long one and I'm ready for it to end. But I've learned a lot about myself and life in general :)

I can't wait for the adventures to come :)

Very short. But so full of knowledge. It's incredible.

P.S. I just finished all of Parks and Recreation up to date. Hilarious.

Hello people. So today I've been listening to the LDS Hymns of Worship Pandora station while I've been at work. I've decided I'm going to listen to this everywhere I go. I feel so calm and at peace when I listen to it. I want to be better. Better at life. Better at this gospel. Better at school. Better at making friends. Just.... better. I haven't been completely happy lately. I've just kinda.... been here. ha All I do is go to school and work. So these are the things I'm going to do. 1. I'm going to read a General Conference talk once a week. 2. I'm going to pray every morning and night on my knees away from my bed. 3. Adventures is Out There: England Style Part I.

May 26-27, 2014  Up at 7:30am. Packed and ready to go :) my mom was having a minor heart attack about me leaving. We met Kinsey at some gas station so that we could all drive to the airport together! Once we were at the airport I realized that my mom was being VERY chill compared to Kinsey's mom. Her mom had printed out about a million sheets of information on scams travelers should avoid and everything. Also she told us that the number one rule we HAD to follow was "don't talk to strangers and don't make eye contact when you're walking on the streets." She said it was our homework for the flight to memorize all of the scams as well . We said of course Lisa. Did we actually study it? For about a minute. But then we were distracted by some guy that wouldn't stop talking to us. He said he was good pals with Uchtdorf. So we broke the number one rule and we were still in Salt Lake.  Finally we boarded. It has been one whole year since finding out about something that changed my life and my family forever. I can't believe it's been a year. What a long, rough year. But it was full of so many blessings. When I found out about my dad, I thought my life was over. I couldn't even believe what was happening. For the first four months, I was in a state of depression that I never thought I would get out of. My poor roommates had to deal with my dead self and I'll be forever grateful for them because they did. I felt like I was carrying the weight of the world on my shoulders. I felt responsible for my family. After about four months, I started to feel happy again about little things and I started seeing some of the blessings in my life. Once summer hit, I thought I was back to my old self because I had such a blast this past summer. That, in and of itself, was a MAJOR blessing.
